SKILLED WORK REGIONAL (PROVISIONAL) VISA SUBCLASS 491

Under this visa category, you are allowed to stay in Australia for 5 years from the date your visa is handed over to you. and you can live, work, and study there.

You are allowed to come and go from anywhere in Australia as many times as you want for as long as your visa is valid. You can also apply for permanent residence through the Permanent Residency Visa (Subclass 191) beginning in 2022 starting on November 16th.

To apply for this visa, you must:

●     be nominated to apply by a state or territory government agency, or an eligible relative must sponsor you

●     have an occupation on a relevant skilled occupation list

●     have a suitable skills assessment for the occupation

●     Receive an invitation to apply

●     have enough points to be eligible to apply

Live in a “Designated Regional Area”

You and all members of your household who are also visa holders will also need to live in and work in, the correct territory of Australia. After this, your nomination will not be withdrawn or you will not be given a visa.
