PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (PNP)

This program is for individuals who have the education and work experience to make a meaningful contribution to the economy of a higher province or region in Canada. Those people have to live in the same province and be permanent residents of Canada.

Each province and territory has its own individual immigration programs that reflect certain groups. And they also have certain requirements that provinces and territories can target.

  • Students
  • Business People
  • Skilled Workers
  • Semi-skilled Workers

As separate parts of the process, one has to pass a medical examination and one has to get a police check (certificate). Everyone should have these checks, regardless of where they plan to live or immigrate to Canada.

There are two ways to apply for PNP

1. Paper-Based Process

Apply for your enrollment under the non-express entry stream in a province or territory. You must meet all of the requirements for the county that enrolls you as well.

2. Express Entry Process

If you want to apply for express entry online then there are again two ways.

  • Contact the province or territory and apply for a nomination under an Express Entry stream
  • Create an Express Entry profile and show the provinces and territories you’re interested in.
